Fibre form: short fibres are cut into discrete fibres, while filament geotextiles are continuous fibres without joints.

Performance focus:Staple Fiber Geotextile have better permeability (more uniform pore distribution) and lower costs, but their tensile strength and tear resistance are slightly lower than those of filament geotextiles. filament geotextiles, on the other hand, have higher strength and are suitable for high-strength engineering projects.

Remove sharp debris (stones, glass, tree roots), with a flatness error of ≤5cm; loose bases must be compacted (compaction ≥90%) to avoid local subsidence and damage after installation.

Laying techniques:

Lay in the direction of water flow or force to avoid excessive stretching (allow for 1% slack);

After laying, temporarily secure with sandbags or soil to prevent wind displacement;

When connecting to surrounding structures (such as retaining walls), extend 10-15 cm into the structure and secure.
